The ENGWE EP-2 Pro delivers up to 40 km of range in full electric mode on a single charge. Range varies depending on rider weight, terrain, assist level, speed, and weather conditions. Using lower pedal-assist levels and contributing more pedal power will extend your range further.
Yes. The ENGWE EP-2 Pro is fully road-legal across the EU, including the Netherlands and Belgium. It features a 250W brushless motor with pedal assist limited to 25 km/h and complies with EN15194 EU regulations. No licence, registration, or insurance is required for standard road and bike path use.
The EP-2 Pro uses one-piece cast wheels fitted with 20 x 4.0 fat tires, rather than traditional spoked wheels. One-piece wheels are stronger, require less maintenance, and improve energy transfer from the motor to the ground - contributing to the EP-2 Pro's 35% range advantage over comparable spoke-wheel bikes.

The EP-2 Pro is fitted with 160mm front and rear mechanical disc brakes. These provide consistent, reliable stopping power in all weather conditions - wet or dry - giving you confidence in city traffic, on descents, and when carrying cargo. Disc brakes also require less maintenance than rim brakes.
